Clean hair styling products are hard to come by. It's tough to find a product that is fragrance-free and is not laden with pore-clogging or scalp-irritating ingredients. I came across Hello Seen one night after a random Google search. The brand popped up at the top of my search and I was instantly intrigued. When I saw they carried a fragrance-free blow-out creme I had to try it!
Formulated by a dermatologist, this styling creme is gentle on the scalp and free of sulfates, silicones, phthalates, parabens, dyes, fragrance, linalool, pore-clogging oils, formaldehyde/formaldehyde releasers, and cocamidopropyl betaine. Did I mention that it's also gluten-free? How many hair care products are actually gluten-free? Not many, unfortunately.
The key ingredients in this styling creme are squalene and hemisqualene which help reduce frizz and keep hair smooth and shiny. It also contains bisabolol which has skin-soothing properties and moringa oleifeira for pollution and UV protection.
At $24 (or $21.60 if you sign up for Auto Renew and Save), this is a generously sized product that will last a while. The creme does not have a thick texture which is nice. I apply about a quarter size amount to damp hair from roots to ends and comb it through with a wooden comb to prevent breakage. Then I just blow dry my hair as usual.
