We woke up this morning to a winter wonderland! We took down the tree and most of the Christmas decorations and I got a headstart baking Lucas' cake for his birthday tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to a fun day celebrating our Little Guy tomorrow and a quiet Sunday before the school week. January is shaping up to be a bit of a roller coaster ride with COVID surging and I'm just hoping the kids and I don't get sick.
Now without further ado, here's the first Friday line-up of the year. Have a wonderful weekend!
1. Winter books:: Are you looking to add to your reading list for the season? This list has some good picks! I'm excited to read Greenwich Park.
2. Afternoon energy slump:: Do you struggle with this too? This list of energizing afternoon habits has potential. I definitely see myself picking up an organizing project or taking a quick class online. If I sit down to watch TV, it's game over. Anybody else?
3. Amanda Gorman:: She's back and I couldn't be more excited. She definitely has a way with words.
4. Cookies:: Winter is all about baking for me. If you are looking to bake cookies, you might find some inspiration here.
5. Emily in Paris:: Have you watched it yet? We binge-watched it over Christmas break! I can't wait for Season 3. The ending was such a cliff-hanger.
Thank you for reading this post!
