MY BEAUTY FAVES :: My Picks From The Sephora Sale

When it comes to beauty products, I have my own holy grail set that I stick to.  Sales like the Sephora VIB sales are good opportunities to stock up on my must-have products at a discount.  The Sephora sale is underway through Monday April 23 (today).  You can get a 15% discount if you're a VIB (code YAYVIB) or a 10 % discount is you are a beautyInsider (code YAYINSIDER).

I actually made it to the Sephora sale this weekend and I wanted to share my purchases.

1.  Josie Maran's SPF tinted moisturizer-  This is a new purchase for me.  I have been using the tinted moisturizer from Juice Beauty for the longest time but when I went to purchase it again I found that it's not available any more.  Therefore, I set off to find new alternatives.  I am drawn to Josie Maran's tinted moisturizer because it's a natural sunscreen (more on that coming up) and it has a high SPF.  The formulation of this sunscreen has both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which act as natural barriers for the sun's UV rays.  In addition, it also has antioxidants for skin health.  As a Mama of two, I usually spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer when we are all out of school so good SPF protection is a must for us all.  Last year, I noticed that I got a few darker spots on my face even using SPF 30 daily so I am curious to see whether this higher SPF will help me avoid this.  I am new to this product but I will be doing a review on it in an upcoming post for you.

2.  Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask-  I got a sample of this mask and loved it so I decided to purchase it.  This gentle multitasker is every Mama's dream.  It combines AHAs to gentle exfoliate your skin and hyaluronic acid to moisturize it.  It's good for all skin types and even though it's exfoliating your skin you will find that your skin is soft and supple in the morning.  I use this mask about three times a week and love it.  Since it has more of a natural formulation you might find that it separates over time.  No need to worry.  Just give it a quick stir before you apply.  They now sell a smaller size too which might be a better alternative to avoid this.

3.  Biossance Squalene and Peptide Eye Gel-  This product is more on the pricier side compared to the other products that I use but I find that eye creams is one of the departments that warrant a splurge.  I have been using this eye cream for a while and love it.  It is very gentle on my eyes (I run on the sensitive side with eye creams).  This cream is meant to help with puffiness and dark eye circles.  This formulation contains peptides to support the microcirculation and lymphatic drainage in the eye area and help combat the dark circles and puffiness.  It also has Swiss apple stem cells to help rejuvenate the eye area.  It's a must try!

So there you go.  These are my picks from the Sephora sale.  Are you trying any new products?  Please share in the comments below!
