FRIDAY FIVE :: Five Spring Trends I'm Loving

Who's ready for another edition of Friday Five?  I have my matcha ready so let's go!

At this point every year, I find myself browsing fashion trends more than usual.  It helps keep me inspired as we go through the last three weeks of Winter.  It's still cold here in New England and the temperatures will not warm up for a while, but looking at these cute new trends gives me life.  Let's talk about them!  Most of them are on sale this weekend which is a plus.

1.  Ruffles ::  I am loving all the ruffle details this season.  I think they help make a top more dressy by itself when it gets too warm to wear a cardigan.  This ruffle top would look adorable with some slim crop pants and a pair of slides.  I would also wear this top in white with jeans.

2.  Eyelet ::  This is one of my summer staples.  I love how feminine and versatile eyelet is.  This embroidered eyelet shirt comes with a built-in camisole that has the right amount of coverage.

3.  Big hair clips ::  Have you tried this trend?  It's been around for a while.  These big clips can make a bad hair day melt away.  You have to try them!  I'm loving this hair clip set.

4. Snakeskin ::  I'm seeing a lot of lepard print for Spring.  It's a little too extra for me.  I think I'm more of the snakeskin print type.  Loving this snakeskin ivory top.  I think it would look adorable with black pants.

5.  Mocknecks ::  I don't remember seeing this neckline for Spring before.  These will be perfect for those cold early season days under a blazer.  Loving this ruffle mockneck sweater

I hope you find some inspiration in this selection.
