FRIDAY FIVE :: New Year Vibes

Happy Friday Friends!  I wanted to share five things that I am liking right now.  I hope you enjoy this week's selection!

With the cold weather kicking in my hands have been feeling a little drier.  I have to say, making my own hand soap has made a big difference.  Right now, I like to apply this shea butter right before I go to bed.  The texture is not my fave but it does a good job at keeping my hands moisturized.  A little goes a long way so it will last you a while.

For someone like me who loves her neutrals, ordering a classic red lipstick is huge.  It's something I've been meaning to try though.  I think a red lipstick is a must have.  Our classic red lipstick hue is super popular but not as bold as our red color intense lipstick.  Baby steps, as they say.

If you are thinking of adding an anti-aging serum to your line-up, I could not recommend our Countertime serum more.  I am planning to pen a review about it since I have been using it for a couple of months now.  I love the texture, how easily it absorbs and all the wonders it's doing for my skin.

Getting back to reading is on my goal's list for this year.   I simply miss it.  Finding a job close to home meant a far shorter commute and also losing that precious to read in peace.  I have been very inconsistent with books as of late.  I just don't seem to get into them like I used to.  Kristen Harmel's latest novel changed things around for me though.  I cannot recommend it enough.

If you had told me a few years ago that I would become a plant lady I would have laughed wholeheartedly.  But guys, the tides have changed as of late.  My black thumb seems to be getting some shades of green?  It all started when I brought some plants to my classroom at the beginning of the year.  I think my students like them.  I definitely do and they are, somehow, still alive.  This gave me the confidence to get some for home.  Next on my list is a snake plant which is really good to help keep the air inside the house clean.  I have a corner picked out for this beauty!  Do you have plants indoors too?

Thank you for reading!
