FRIDAY FIVE :: All About Hair

Happy Friday Friends!  We had a busy morning in town getting Lucas' passport renewed so I'm just getting to type this.  Lucas crashed in the car on our way home and somehow he stayed asleep as I transferred him to his bed.  All the walking must have tired him out!

Here's another edition of my Friday Five!  I like coming up with a different theme for each week.  Today, my focus is on hair!  I've been thinking about adding some form of exfoliation or massage treatment to my scalp.  I think we tend to neglect it.  Do you agree?  I've heard great things about this inexpensive hair scalp massager and I want to give it a try.  I'll be reporting back!  Do you use any kind of scalp treatment?  Let me know in the comments!

Now onto hair treatments.  My hair can get frizzy in the humidity.  It's also been on the drier side on the ends this summer.  I've been searching high and low for a hair treatment.  Let me tell you, it is so hard to find a clean product, specially one with no fragrance.  I have found a leave-in conditioner that I love and will be reviewing shortly.  I'm also adding argan oil for my ends and keeping it simple.

I showed you this week in stories what I use on Lucas' hair now that he lets me do something with it.  I use this detangler for Nahia and we stocked up since school is starting soon (yikes!).  She has beautiful thick hair that somehow gets into this really amazing knots if I don't keep up with it.  This detangler is the cleanest I have found.  It also has no fragrance which is just amazing with hair products.  It works well and I feel safe letting her spray it on.  No bad chemicals!

Now onto hair accessories!  Needless to say, I am stocking up on hair elastics because those always go MIA no matter how many I buy.  We have added a stretchy hair band to keep the hair off her face and she loves them.  These elastic cotton headbands are a nice update for my soon to be third grader (wait, what?) and will give her more options since we also tend to lose the headbands (I know...).

This twist knot headband set is such a buy!  I bought my first twist knot headband earlier this summer.  I think they are so fun.

So there you go!  Another Friday Five!  Are any of these on your radar?
