My Beauty Faves :: Ready in Five!

On the weekends, I like to stick to a quick and simple routine to get ready.  I do just enough to help me look more put together!  I start by applying the Juice Beauty phyto pigments perfecting concealer for some much needed coverage under my eyes.  I have tried many brands for concealers.  I like Juice Beauty's concealer because it has vitamins C and E which are antioxidants and help prevent sun damage to the delicate area around the eyes.  This concealer tends to have a dry texture and is not creamy like most of the ones I have used.  However, I find that if you use a brush it is fairly easy to apply.  It is one of the few that actually blends in well with my complexion and does not make me look orange or too pale.

I follow with the Juice Beauty SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer.  This moisturizer is a multi tasker and packs a powerhouse of good ingredients for your skin.  It will shield your skin from uv rays with zinc broad spectrum SPF 30 coverage and will protect your skin from damage with antioxidants from fruits.  Your skin will thank you!  This SPF tinted moisturizer has a pleasant fruity smell, is non-greasy and does not make my skin dry.  I have been using it for years.  It's my go to on the weekends when I do not worry about coverage but still want that SPF protection and put together feeling when I am out and about running errands with my kiddos.

It has taken me years to get used to mascara and use it consistently.  I used to shy away from it because my eyes are super sensitive and would react to the mascara.  The Juice Beauty phyto pigments ultra natural mascara has a non-drying formula that prevents clumping and smudging.  So when I eventually rub my eyes forgetting I have mascara on (do you do that too?) it is not a big deal.  My eyes do not mind this formula at all and it actually helps brighten my look.

Last but not least, I apply some color to my lips for a pop of color.  I tend to lean towards the neutral hues but I am starting to appreciate the darker tones.  I like using the Burt's Bees moisturizing lip crayons.  They are very moisturizing on my lips and hold up pretty well in my purse.

So there you go, this is my basic weekend routine to get ready.  What are your favorite make up products for the weekend?  Do you go for a natural look too on the weekends?

I hope you enjoyed this post.  Thanks for reading!
