MY BEAUTY FAVES :: Necessaire Body Products

 

Have you heard about the Necessaire brand?  I have been curious for a while.  I had heard wonders about their body wash so when they sent me their body products to try I was game. 

Before we take a deep dive into these three, let's talk about why you should be paying more attention to the way you treat the skin on your body.  It simply needs some TLC too.  You may have figured out a regimen for your face that you follow religiously.  But what do you do for your body?  The skin on your body will age too.  I've been lazy about it for a while but I'm committed to changing things around this year.

For reference, I have sensitive skin that tends to be on the dry side, especially during the winter.  

1.  Body Wash::  

I'm amazed at how well this body wash lathers.  You barely get anything out (the top doesn't have the best design) but it somehow produces a very rich lather.  This wash contains niacinamide, vitamins C and E, and omegas 6 and 9, so it's like a supercharged smoothie for the skin.  It does not dry out or irritate my skin which is always a plus.  The clean eucalyptus scent makes you think you're at a spa.

2.  Body Scrub :: 

I had been looking for a body scrub for a while, preferably something that I can apply easily in the shower without making a big mess.  It's important to exfoliate regularly to remove dead skin cells from the surface and make room for healthy cells.  It helps keep your skin from getting too dry and helps with product absorption.

This body scrub is gentle but effective.  It has a combination of physical and chemical exfoliants.  I use it 2 times a week and I can already tell the difference!  My skin feels smooth and hydrated.

3.  Body Lotion :: 

The body lotion is neither thick nor runny and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue which is a plus.  My skin definitely feels moisturized.  The body lotion has skin-loving vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids so it feels very nourishing to the skin. 

If you are looking to establish a body care routine, I would definitely check out this brand.  The products are clean and they do a good job!
