Our Fall Bucket List

Can you believe it's the first day of Fall?  As much as I love summer, there is just something about Fall for me.  It's the vibrant colors, the warm sunshine, and all the fun outdoor activities that we can do before it gets too cold.
I always like reading other people's bucket lists, so I figured I would share our Fall list.

Here we go!

1. Do something fun every Sunday:: Our weekends are packed with soccer games and chores.  It's nice to have a fun Sunday outing to look forward to before starting a new week as you work through the list of chores.  It doesn't have to be complicated or expensive.  So far, we have gone peach picking, and we had our first caramel apple.

2.  Eat caramel apples:: Speaking of caramel apples, we already had our first!  We drove for 45 minutes last weekend to Wilson Farm and it was so worth it.  It was the perfect Fall afternoon and it got us all excited for Fall.  The caramel apples did not disappoint either.  Make sure you confirm that the caramel is gluten-free if you are allergic.

3.  Go to a pumpkin patch:: We are already thinking about this one.  October can be a wet month in the northeast and we always tend to wait too long and then get caught in the stream of rainy days.  When it dries out and we do make it out, there are pretty much no pumpkins to pick from.  This year, we will do better!

4.  Plant more bulbs:: This one always falls through the cracks and every spring I wish I had planted more bulbs in the Fall.  There is something about the vibrant colors popping through the snow-covered ground.  Lucas has offered to help so now I have to get this done.

5.  Get lost in a corn maze:: We tried this pre-COVID and the kids had a blast.  Hoping to try it again this year!

6.  Find gluten-free apple cider donuts:: We already accomplished this one!  We tried a keto bakery near us and the donuts did not disappoint!  I can't wait to get more.

7.  Bake pies:: There's nothing like a warm piece of pie on a cool Fall day.  I'm looking forward to making apple and pumpkin pie with my crew.

Now tell me, what's on your Fall bucket list?

Thank you for reading this post!
